One More Time!

The 2025 HanesBrands Holiday Warehouse Sale is around the corner, and we need you to volunteer!

All proceeds benefit United Way of Forsyth County and volunteers play a BIG role in this annual sale event.

With thousands of pieces of merchandise to sell and hundreds of shoppers to greet, there are multiple ways to give your time throughout this 4-day shopping experience.

VOLUNTEER ROLES. 

There are multiple assignments for set-up days, sale days and take down days.

Assignments for SET-UP DAYS include forklift driver, pallet jack runner, and sort/unload pallets/products

Assignments for SALE DAYS include front door greeter, bagger/check-out support, merchandising/product restock

Assignments for TAKE DOWN DAYS include forklift driver, pallet jack runner, and sort/load pallets/products

SHIFTS.

Volunteers are asked to sign up for at least 2 shifts (4 hours) and to consider signing up for multiple shifts on the same day or different days!

TIMEFRAME FOR VOLUNTEERING.

REMEMBER!

VOLUNTEER hours are different than SALE hours.

INCENTIVE.

Volunteers are asked to sign up for at least 2 shifts (4 hours) to receive the $25.00 incentive. Of course, you may sign up for multiple shifts on the same day or different days!

ATTIRE.

This event is in a warehouse-like space. Wear appropriate clothing/outerwear as temperatures tend to fluctuate between cold and warm. Volunteers should also wear comfy and safe foot ware – closed-toe shoes recommended. Information about volunteer T-shirts for this year’s sale is forthcoming.

Keep in mind that there will be no storage area for coats, jackets, bags, purses, etc. so please secure articles on you.  Leave valuables and purses locked and out of view in your car or leave them at home.
