United Way of Forsyth County will have an information and games booth in or near the Midway area of the fairgrounds to showcase all things UWFC and we want and need YOU to assist by volunteering!
When: Starting Monday, October 6 through Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Shifts: There are four (4) shifts each day starting at 11 AM until 11 PM each day -Monday, October 6 through Saturday, October 11.

- A maximum of four (4) people per shift is sufficient.
- Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts in the same day and/or different days!
- Please arrive at the booth 15 minutes before the start of your shift.
Assignment/Task: Volunteers are asked to manage the booth by:
1. Displaying, replenishing securing materials and supplies
2. Greeting passersby and offering guests a chance to play a game to win a prize
3. Announcing the HanesBrands Warehouse sale and recruiting individuals to volunteer for it.
4. Sharing information about United Way of Forsyth County.
Incentive: Volunteers who sign up for at least one (1) 3-hour shift will get free parking pass for the day of the shift and free admission to the fairgrounds. Your free parking and admission are good for the entire day before and after your shift. Once you register to volunteer, contact Tash Lane – to secure your parking pass and free admission access.
Attire: While volunteers will be stationed under a tent, this event is outside. Please be prepared for potential temperature and weather changes. Also, please wear appropriate foot ware – closed toe shoes are recommended – and ANY United Way T-shirt.
