
Ashley Academy Gators is a school of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School District. Its vision is “to prepare and educate scholars in a progressive, safe, and positive environment, leading them to become global citizens.” Its mission says that Ashley Academy is “a diverse school focused on academic excellence and building stronger relationships, which leads to global interactions while fostering an engaged community.”

About the Project:
With the help of “Uncle B”, school leaders are hoping to get this ‘gem’ back up and functioning. Plans include planting a garden with Ashley Academy scholars and donating veggies grown to Ashley Academy families in need.
About the Task/Assignment:

Yard/garden tools such as rakes, shovels, clippers, wire cutters as supplies are limited at the school.
