Adopt-A-Stream Cleanup 2023
Event Description:
In partnership with Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful, Reynolds employees have adopted a portion of Mill Creek at University Parkway. Volunteers are needed to help remove litter and debris from the area. Join your colleagues for an enjoyable experience while making a positive impact to the appearance and ecological health of Mill Creek!
What to expect/wear/bring:
- Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Plan on being outdoors – and bring plenty of water
- Wear sunscreen/protective clothing/bug repellent
- Clean up supplies (trash bags, gloves, safety vests) will be provided
- Please eat before you arrive
- You are not required to enter the water. If you wish to do so, please plan accordingly (i.e. bring a towel, dry shoes to change into, etc.)
Volunteers must complete liability waivers for Reynolds American Inc and City of Winston-Salem at the start of the event.
