Who We Are

We serve the poor, the vulnerable, and those in need of our services. Our services are available to all of God’s people regardless of their age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, or economic/social background. Through our services we seek to strengthen families, build communities, and reduce poverty.

What We Do

The PTO Catholic Charities two major volunteer opportunities are our food pantry and our Wee Care Program. The food pantry operates on the principle of providing food with dignity. Families can schedule an appointment monthly and arrive on a Thursday each month to pick up food. Our Wee Care Shop provides free infant and toddler clothing to families and children in need. Our agency relies heavily on the work of volunteers. Volunteers assist with pick-up, organization, prepping and packing the items distributed in our (weekly) food pantry. Staff and volunteers help participants with selecting clothing and supplies, including diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, and blankets in our Wee Care Shop. Other volunteer duties vary and include phone calls, data entry, assistance with our annual fundraising event- Partners in Hope and our thriving community garden.
