United Way of Forsyth County (UWFC) is preparing for upcoming Pop-Up Shop events and needs a few extra hands to help unpack, inventory, sort and repack products. There are over 40 boxes to go through!
If you have a couple hours to spare, stop by the UWFC office suite on Thursday, August 6 from 10 AM – 4 PM at 301 N. Main Street. This is a project that we’d like to get “Done in a Day!”
Number of Volunteers Needed: 15 – 20 (Just let me know that you are coming!)
Available Shifts:
- Aug 6, 2026 at 10:00am ET for 2.00 hours with 10 slots.
- Aug 6, 2026 at 12:00pm ET for 2.00 hours with 10 slots.
- Aug 6, 2026 at 2:00pm ET for 2.00 hours with 10 slots.
Attire: Casual. With comfy shoes. There will be some light lifting and bending.Other: Bottled water will be available, and you are welcome to bring a snack/lunch especially if you are volunteering around the lunch hour.
Parking: If you are driving, street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis where payment is expected via a parking app. There is also paid parking available in an adjacent parking deck. If handicapped accessible parking is needed, send a message to Latasha.Lane@uwforsyth.org
