Let’s celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr, by taking action on the MLK Day of Service – Monday, January 20!
Join United Way of Forsyth County on Monday, January 20 and The Parenting PATH to complete various inside and outdoor projects that support The Parenting Path mission which “works to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect by strengthening families, enhancing parent/child relationships and creating safer, more stable communities.”
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME!
1. Sort Clothing! Experience a different degree of Retail Therapy by spending time at Pinwheels – The Parenting Path’s Thrift Store and Family Center! Regarded as “Winston-Salem’s only boutique thrift store for the WHOLE family!”, Pinwheels is now open and has received clothing donations that need to be sorted and displayed.
2. Diaper Packaging: To ensure an equitable distribution of supplies like diapers, volunteers are needed to help package diapers for clients. No diaper changing experience is necessary!
3. Address Cards: Help The Parenting PATH send a little love by affixing address labels to their agency Valentine’s Day Cards.
4. Seasonal Beautification: Help is needed to spruce up the curbside view at the main office. Tasks include weeding and light landscaping.
