Because the mental and physical disabilities associated with old age impact both the elderly and their loved ones we offer The Salvation Army CiVIC Senior Center in partnership with United Way of Forsyth County - Place Matters. The Center serves as a gateway to the area’s aging network—connecting older adults to vital community services that can help them stay healthy and independent.
We are looking volunteers to help us with cleaning up the outside of the building, beautification. Pulling weeds, cleaning the parking lot, trim the bushes. Then back area of the building freshen up the soil in the fruit & flower beds (just dig up and turn over).
