Help needed at Food Pantry (No background check needed)
Volunteers are needed @ 1255 N. Trade Street, WS 27101
Wear appropriate clothing (no short shorts, belly shirts or inappropriate language on clothing), and must wear closed toed shoes (no sandals). To sort all food brought into the food pantry from the local food bank and various grocery stores. This is a food pantry for the community residents that need assistance. Volunteers will stock, sort, and separate all food into/onto the correct boxes to assist families with the distribution.
Cleanup of the area around distribution area parking lot and building inside and out. Pick up trash, keeping the site clean of food and debris. Volunteers must be able to lift heavy boxes and stand on their feet for long periods. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Distinguish between items/products for use and those that expired.
Community or Court Appointed Service allowed; must sign up online to register for a day and time.
Monday - Friday 2:00 - 4:00 PM; Wednesday 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
